Genre : Romance ,Livres ,Contemporain From #1 New York Times Bestseller Vi Keeland, comes a new, sexy standalone novel.
My relationship with Hunter Delucia started backwards.
We met at a wedding—him sitting on the groom’s side, me sitting on the bride’s. Stealing glances at each other throughout the night, there was no denying an intense, mutual attraction.
I caught the bouquet; he caught the garter. Hunter held me tightly while we danced and suggested we explore the chemistry sparking between us. His blunt, dirty mouth should’ve turned me off. But for some crazy reason, it had the opposite effect on me.
We ended up back in my hotel room. The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number.
I thought about him often, but after my last relationship, I’d sworn off of charming, cocky, gorgeous-as-sin men. A year later, Hunter and I met again at the birth of our friends’ baby. Our attraction hadn't dulled one bit. After a whirlwind trip, he demanded a real phone number this time. So I left him with my mother’s—she could scare away any man with her talks of babies and marriage—and flew back home.
I’d thought it was funny, until the following week when he rang the bell at Mom’s house for Sunday night dinner. The crazy, gorgeous man had won over my mother and taken an eight-week assignment in my city. He proposed we spend that time screwing each other out of our systems.
Eight weeks of mind-blowing sex with no strings attached? What did I have to lose?
Nothing, I thought.
It’s just sex, not love.
But you know what they say about the best laid plans…

Sex and love
I don’t even have words to explain how good this book was. I really liked the fact that hunter was not the classic CEO who was super rich. He’s background was so heart breaking. I also like the fact that Natalia didn’t give in so easy and played hard to get. All the supporting characters were great. I think by far this is top 5 of favorite books from this character. I can’t wait to read another of her books. It’s def worth the price. I finished in like 3 hours because I couldn’t put it down.

My Favorite
I have been reading Vi Keeland for a while. I like to read an authors entire collection and then move on. I am about 3/4 through her published works and so far I adore this book. The male character is hilarious and the tension between the two characters is spot on. I think what makes this book stand out for me is that the supporting characters are also complex. They add just the right seasoning to the story. What can I say besides, this one stands out for me. So far my favorite by Vi Keeland.

👎🏻
Boring storyline that went nowhere. All the characters were bland. When Vi Keeland writes books by herself, they are terribly disappointing. Thank goodness for Penelope Ward. Apparently, two minds really are better than one!

Love Can Also be Sexy
Normally read CIA/Task Force thrillers. This was a marked change but worth the change. Would recommend it. Hard to put down. Lots of ups and downs.

Fabulous!
Fell in love with these characters after the first few pages! This love story leaves you satisfied in the end. That is very hard to do in in just a few hundred pages. Ms. Keeland you have a gift! Read this book! You won’t be disappointed. ❤️

5 KISS ME STARS
Based on the title and the synopsis, I had certain expectations when I opened this book, but let me tell you that it is nothing what I thought it would be. In fact, this story exceeded my expectations, and Sex, Not Love will be one of my favorite Vi Keeland books. Hunter is everything I love about a Vi Keeland hero. He is charismatic and oozes charm. Even when he is being cocky, he puts a smile on your face with his devilish and dirty comments. As the story progresses, readers get to see that there is more below the surface, and there are clearly ghosts from his past haunting him. The revelations about his past are not what I was expecting, but the characteristics provided a much needed layer to create complexity to his character. When this past detail is revealed, the motivation behind his decisions makes sense, and readers become even more sympathetic to his choices. I had so much respect for Natalia based on the decisions she makes in this novel. She constantly puts others ahead of herself, and I love that she takes in people who aren’t necessarily her responsibility. Her finally decision at the end of the novel, only solidified my original feelings towards her, making sure that I yearned for her to get her happy ending with Hunter. This story is a surprisingly slow burn. Even so, there is a lot of chemistry to keep readers engaged with their story. The conversations, the banter, and the flirty, dirty talk make the sexual tension authentic between them, and these two get to know each other before getting physical, making their love more believable. Vi Keeland makes this couple so likable that readers hearts will ache for the end of the eight weeks, and just like the characters, readers aren’t really sure why it is all happening. Her choice of conflict is not only perfect for story she created, but it also serves to develop the theme of loving and living to the max. Sex, Not Love will be one of my favorite Vi Keeland books. It is sexy and fun, but more than that is a story with heart and a real message about living and loving with all the time you are given.

Review: Sex, Not Love
Sex, Not Love by Vi Keeland is another fabulous, amazing, heart-wrenching, loving tale from one of my favorite authors. A standalone romance told in dual POV between the hot, dirty-talking, persistent Hunter Delucia and the beautiful, feisty, independent Natalia Rossi. Hunter has issues. Deep, dark, emotional issues. His character has depth, heat and passion. He aims all that charisma directly in Natalia's direction at the wedding of their mutual best friends. While the chemistry is there, so much so, they practically sizzle, she keeps him at a distance. Well, except for the few times they kiss and she starts to melt. He is determined to win her though, so much so when she gives him her phone number and it turns out to be her moms number, he ingratiates himself with the matriarch of the Rossi family and winds up at Sunday dinner. Natalia has been burned. Badly! Her ex-husband is in federal prison for a Ponzi scheme and she has full custody of her 15 year old stepdaughter. Leaving New York for California for her best friends wedding was a nice break from reality. Being passionately kissed by the best man? Mind blowing and a little bit frightening. The level of chemistry between them is something she is NOT looking for and backs away from, rapidly. The two of these characters together, just wow! Hunter is persistent in his pursuit of Nat but also in his need for it to just be about sex. Not love. But the best laid plans often go awry. They both fall for each other but still something is keeping them apart. Gah! Vi's books are ALWAYS romantic and HOT and amazing, and the underlying seriously emotional impacts that life can have on people and their relationships is something she doesn't shy away from and writes with such grace. I loved this! Enjoy!

Love, not like this author
I always enjoy this author’s stories, and this one is not exception. She always has a little twist in the plot line, and just when I thought I had it all figured out, the real twist was revealed, and it touched my heart. This is one of those stories where I would love to know how this couple was doing in the future. Thanks Vi for another enjoyable read.

Never a disappointment
Vi never disappoints-her stories grab you from the first paragraph and continue to the last. The storyline is unique and different every time. Complex characters that you love and want to have find their HEA.

Loved this Book…Sexy, Sweet and Sassy!
I was reading another book that really wasn’t great when “Sex Not Love” downloaded. I have over 25 other unread books out of 1800 on my iPad, but this was really caught my eye. I started it just to see if I’d like it and four hours later, I am writing this review. Thankfully I have off today for the MLK holiday or I might have had to call in sick because I couldn't stop reading it! I read at least four books a week so when I leave a five-star review, it is only because I feel it is truly deserving and hits all the marks. “Sex Not Love” is funny, sexy, heartfelt, original, and focused on family, loyalty, and friendships. In order for me to give a five star review, I really need to admire the hero and heroine and Hunter and Natalie did not disappoint. I really liked that they weren’t in their young 20s and that he wasn’t a “billionaire.” So many books today have the male lead a billionaire which is highly unlikely in real life. I prefer the hero to be successful, smart, handsome, caring, educated and a gentleman, and Hunter delivers on all accounts. Plus he is smoking hot, has a great sense of humor, and never gives up fighting for the woman he loves. It may have taken him along time to admit his feelings, but they were evident throughout the book and it was so worth it in the end. Both Hunter and Natalie have been through a lot of heartache and stress, and I really admire Natalie for being so forthcoming with him right from the beginning. I like that she too is smart, educated, sassy, and protective of her heart. I love how she was strong after her marriage ended, how she cares for her step-daughter, Izzy, and how their relationship evolved, and her relationship with her Italian mom and sisters. I also liked how Hunter and Natalie had the same set of friends, and how they valued those relationships and were there for each other. Hunter’s backstory, told through chapters from the past, makes you feel all of his pain and understand why he is afraid of commitment. While many romance books today have a broken hero, his story really hit home and as a reader, you routed for him all of the way. I also loved how caring and considerate he was to Izzy and Natalie’s mom…..cracked me up that he started talking to Natalie’s mom when she gave him a wrong phone number. Another thing I liked about the book was how you got to know both characters through their professional life, she was a therapist and he was a successful architectural engineer. As a reader, you have many questions as you progress through a book, and all of mine were answered. Nothing is more frustrating when you read a book and it ends and you want to know more! I would love to have an extended epilogue of this book and see where they are a few years from now after Izzy graduates from college and Hunter and Natalie hopefully are parents of a toddler or two (hint, hint)! I have read and enjoyed other books that I enjoyed by Vi Keeland such as Boss Man, Beautiful Mistake, but “Sex Not Love” was my favorite. Great read. Absolutely recommend.

Love. This. Book.
Love. This. Book. I feel like a broken record in my Vi reviews so I'm gonna keep it short (because, really, I can't elaborate on how spectacular this book is), but every single book of hers is pure gold. The story is enthralling, the characters are smart and realistic, the chemistry and sexual tension are off the charts, and I'm always dying to read her next book. This one had a couple of interesting elements in the form of a step-daughter and a mysterious event from the past, but I felt they added so much to the story. I just loved every word. If you like contemporary romances, or if you've never read one, or if you're looking for a new author to try, THIS is your book. (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)
